Long Beach RCRA Letter

Letter from the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Coalition for a Safe Environment to the City of the Long Beach, the Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners, and the Port of Long Beach about violations of the Resource Conservation Recovery Act ("RCRA").  The letter alleges harm stemming from the immense amount of diesel pollution the above-referenced entities allow to be placed into the air, onto the land, and into the water.  The letter serves to provide the 90 day statutorily required notice to these entities of their violation of RCRA and indicates the willingness to file suit in federal court unless the harm is abated.
